The COVID-19 pandemic, and its impact on the workforce, has required nimbleness, creativity, and a lot of extra effort from HR departments. In addition to the emotional toll the pandemic has inflicted on all of us, HR leaders had to quickly adapt and adjust a smorgasbord of organizational needs in a very short amount of time: layoffs, policy changes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, company culture, social capital.
